A simple 2 ingredient laddoo recipe. The lightly toasted coconut gives these laddoos a nice crunch. The condensed milk makes them super sweet and delicious. Total awesomeness!!

Ingredients

Equipment Needed

  • Pan

Step 1

Place 2 cups coconut in a deep pan. Place the pan over low heat and lightly toast the coconut. Stir constantly to avoid burning. (Note: Do not allow the coconut to change color).

Step 2

Pour in the sweetened condensed milk; mix well. Stir constantly for 20 minutes or until the mixture becomes really thick and pulls away from the side of the pan. Start on a medium heat and reduce heat to low when the mixture starts sticking to the bottom of the pan. Never allow it to burn. Remove from heat.

Step 3

When the mixture is warm enough to touch, make small balls out of the mixture. The mixture will be very sticky, so apply some oil to your hands. At this stage, the laddoos will also look very floppy, but they will harden when cooled.

Step 4

Place remaining ½ cup coconut in a shallow bowl or plate. Roll the laddoos in coconut. Serve.
